The brand of YONA was envisioned by Ms. YojanaMalla, a seasoned fashion buyer with years spent curating for the most discerning markets. What she saw behind the velvet curtains of the global footwear industry was striking: in the pursuit of style, comfort was too often left behind. So, she rewrote the script.
With more than five years of experience as a fashion buyer specializing in ladies’ footwear, Ms. YojanaMalla has walked through the ateliers of Thailand, the showrooms of China, Thailand, Vietnam and India, and the dreams of countless women seeking the perfect pair of shoes. She understood the rhythm of fashion and more importantly, the cost women pay in discomfort to keep up with it.
Her vision was not just to launch another brand, but to create a new category, one where beauty and comfort are not mutually exclusive. A brand that would respect the elegance of design and the dignity of the woman wearing it.
